For my birthday this year I gifted myself tickets to the Midnight Oil Resist concert, at Heifer Station in Orange NSW. Over the years I’ve seen Midnight Oil play a number of times, and at not one of those concerts did they disappoint. Although there was that one time they were super late to the stage at Penrith Panthers. On this, their final tour, they did not seem like men about to retire, the energy was amazing! Probably one of the best concerts I’ve been to.
It was hosted by Day on the Green, which meant it was a big event with bougie food trucks and lots of wine, and the crowd was huge (probably a super spreader crowd, but I digress). Every person seemed really happy to be there, and feeling six thousand people jump to their feet when they hear the first bars of Beds are Burning, is something I won’t soon forget. The above is a few shots I took from the kick ass seats I got. Happy Birthday to me.
