We can go outside!

Local adventures for the win! Not far from us there is a small national park and within it you will find Mount Nangar. Once you get up the hill, on a track which is definitely not for two wheel drives, you’ll be treated to a spectacular view to the east. If you don’t have a four wheel you can leave your car at Dripping Rock, and take one of the hiking trails up the mountain. If you go after recent rains, Dripping Rock may even be a waterfall. The park is but a small strip of bushland, in what is essentially a very bare part of the state. It made me want to come home and plant a tree.

The kids were very happy to be having a day out and going somewhere that isn’t essential. After not even being able to come into the supermarket with me for months, they absolutely basked in the forest and went wild.
